(Also note, I may not use the whole key in every chapter, maybe two or three. )

A while later the two of you decided to head into the giant Macy's that covered a good portion of the left side of the mall. Even though Loki didn't look all too impressed by how big it was, he still wandered around like a kid in a candy shop. Maybe it was just the coffee; after all, he had more than you'd really ever seen anyone drink. He had to keep stopping at regular intervals to catch up to him, the bags you had carried from the stores you had gone into weighed you down quite a bit.
He stopped quite suddenly, picking up another green shirt, this one was button up, and was an even deeper green, almost emerald. He looked back at you, raising his eyebrow questioningly. "Yeah, totally," You nodded in approval, your mouth quirking up in a tiny smile. He smirked back at you, holding it in his other hand while he looked through the rest of the shirts on a rack.
You both got into picking off clothing off the rack, so much that another couple across from you looked at you with envy, yourself just smirking at them. A lot of other people looked at you like you were crazy, or snuck double glances at Loki when your back was turned. You had no idea how much time had passed until your mother called you.
While Loki was moving onto something else, you picked up, "Hey, Mom."
She sounded excited when she spoke, you could hear the smile in her voice, "Hey, Honey! You didn't answer the home phone when we called."
You shrugged involuntarily, "Sorry, I didn't hear it. So, what's up? Are you there yet?"
"Ah, nope, not yet, maybe about twenty miles away, what's that noise in the background?"
You cringed a little, right, you had gotten used to the background music, so it hadn't occurred to you that your mother could still hear it, "Ah, nothing, just some ad playing on my laptop, that's all."
You could tell she bought it, this was the third time this week you had lied to them. You had never lied this much in your life, and you shot a glare at Loki over your shoulder, which, of course, he wasn't looking when you did. Damn him.
You mother continued talking, half of which you missed, "Sorry, what?" You asked sheepishly when she finished.
Your mother sighed, "Oh, nothing. Never mind. I should probably go, your father's stopping for more gas."
"Mkay, bye," You said, ending the call and wandering back over to Loki.
You nudged him with your elbow, an eyebrow rising in your direction, "You my good sir are poison."
He feigned an innocent look at you, "How so, my dear?"
"This is the THIRD time this week I've lied to them, because of you."
He chuckled while he shuffled through yet another rack, a few other pieces of clothing dangling from his arm. "And you, dearest, should be proud of that. You are a talented liar, and that is rare among Midgardians, as I've already told you."
You sighed, shaking your head, "I don't want to be a good liar," You replied stubbornly.
"You are such a child."
"Hey! I'm not wandering around the mall like a kid in a candy shop!"
He looked at you funnily, almost like he thought you were crazy, "A child in a candy shop? How does that amount to anything?"
You waved your hand at him, "Oh, never mind."
He just smirked at you, and continued looking through the racks while you went off the do your own thing. You needed a new dress anyway.
It was funny you ran into your friend there, then again, it really wasn't, she was always at the mall, and was notorious for using her parent's credit card for her own pleasure. "Hey, y/n."
You smiled at her, shuffling through the racks at half the speed she was, "So, Sarah, I thought you were out of town for the next few days."
She shrugged, "Oh, well, my parents couldn't stand all those hobos in Seattle, always asking for money and stuff. So, I convinced them to come back early."
You nodded, looking up when she made an excited noise and held out a dress to you. It was black and silver, the waist line and shoulder straps, the rest of the deepest black you had ever seen. It was made of the softest fabric you had ever felt, and it felt clingy when you ran your hand over the skirt.
"Try it on." Sarah pushed you to the nearest changing room, the dress pressed into your hands as she did.
It was an amazing dress, and it fit you perfectly, the skirt ended a few inches about your knees, the skirt the perfect flow along your legs. The neckline was rounded at the top, not showing too much cleavage to look slutty. You absolutely had to get it.
Sarah gushed over it too; she said it looked absolutely perfect. Thankfully Loki wasn't here; you didn't think you could handle him saying anything like that to you.
You met Loki back where he was, looking at the one dress you held in your hand, "I trust that is not for me, yes?"
You laughed quietly, "Not unless you want to wear a dress."
He looked almost horrified at that, "Oh no, dresses can be left for women to wear."
"Well, you never know, maybe you'd like them."
"I do know y/n. It isn't something I'd like to relive."
You stopped, putting a hand on his arm in utter shock, "Holy Hell, no way!"
He nodded sheepishly, "That is a story I will tell you another time."

Time (LokiXReader)
Everything around me is moving too fast. I can’t catch up. My mental legs can’t run that fast. Everywhere I look, fingers are pointing at me, ridiculing me, even though I haven’t done anything wrong. Just let me sit here with my music to catch my breath. I can only run so fast.
A pat on my head made me open my once tightly shut eyes. My eyes laid upon a majestic god of green and black in front of me. His body stood up tall and proud, but his emerald eyes said other wise like he was reading deep into my soul. I saw his thin lips move, but I can’t hear what he’s saying. Slowly, his large hands moved to either side

LokixReader pt. three
It had ben almost a week now since the man who had called himself a god had left his cloak with you, and honestly, you hoped you'd never see him again. He had freaked you out on two levels.
First level? He was deliussional, and even though you went to an art school everyone knew they were mere humans and not Gods. And you didn't want a deliussional man following you around. You were fed up with men to begin with.
Second, there was a strange vibe you got from him being near you, and you weren't comfterble with it. You couldn't put your finger on the sensation he gave you.
You shuddered, your (e/c) eyes opening slowly and checked your cell p

A Life's Promise (LokiXReader)
There’s nothing left for me in this life anymore. There’s nothing left inside of me to care. I can’t take it much longer. I have to escape. This blade is the key out. No, I won’t run this time. I ran away too many times. This time I shall welcome the light...the darkness...the end...with open arms. The constant torture, the emotional scarring, the feeling of being alone inside and out. I can’t take it. I can hear death calling to me.
I look at my hands through the pale moonlight swimming from the window of my room; my only source of light. Everything else is dark letting it embrace my final time. The steel blade

I don't prefer skirts. They make me feel uncomfortable. :/
